Its because its apparent that you look upon me as a father figure, and as much as I would hate to disappoint you I am as certain as I can be that I have never met your mum, unless of course you are fixated with being a van drivers mate and you want me to pass on my knowledge to you  and as for my own sate of mind, well what can I say.

Some people think I am a schizophrenic, but they don't really know us.

So it was because of the quality of the stand you moved? Not the fact you were playing towards the WRE in the second half, perhaps?

I changed ends at HT and really enjoyed the second half, the atmosphere was good and it was better than the first half. It was my first trip to cas and with a new stadium on the horizon it will not be my last. I saw no trouble but we did have a 10 minute detour coming away on coach 2 and saw some lovely housing estates. I see no problem in sending us the other way for OUR OWN SAFETY, this is just cas showing some brains and not sending us where we may get bricked. We dont come to the rugby te get 'bricked' we come for the rugby, the banter, the atmosphere. Yes we have some idiots that get smashed and turn up and just want a fight, but the majority of our fans are all alright.

This thing about people being uncomfortable in the second half when the Wire fans moved around bothers me a bit. I do not condone drunken behaviour and I agree that some of our fans are idiots however that stand is the full width of the ground and the Wire fans were congregated tucked away in one corner leaving plenty of room for other fans. Anyone feeling uncomfortable had plenty of terracing available away from the noisy element to move to - I think some peoples sensibilities may alter according to the point they want to make.
I went to the match with my son and heard nothing, from either sets of fans, which made me think he shouldn't be listening to this. I watched a lot of rugby throughout the 80's and 90's when it really was uncomfortable in grounds and Friday was not that sort of atmosphere by a long way.
I wish you good luck with your ground and hope it does for your club what it did for ours.

Actually Pete, after half time the wire fans were congregated in both corners! The problems seemed to be around the set of fans in the corner nearest the main stand. I didn't see any issues with those fans congregated over by the princess street stand, where I assume all the drum moved to! From where I was stood it seemed to me that as normal we have some people who can't handle the odd sherbert, I must admit I only noticed the stewards and police seeming to throw out some of our own fans. This was all at the opposite end of the stand where I presume you were standing.

Junglefever - you are correct in your assumption I was stood near the end furthest away from the main stand so I was not aware of the incidents to which you refer. It is upsetting when this behaviour is from your own fans and you are right it is just a few idiots who cannot handle their drink - it was Warrington Walking Day that day when all the churches parade through the town and this has always been a traditonal day for a booze up and I suspect a lot of these idiots were on the pop all day before boarding the coaches for your place.
Bear with us most of us are normal Rugby League fans - good luck again with your ground ( and new coach ! )
