With only 2 signings, and these were announced before last season closed, has this been the quietest off season ever.

Everywhere you look, in the papers, websites and Teletext, there seems to be news on other clubs, but Cas are not making any headlines for wrong or right reasons. Even the stadium news(or lack of) doesn't get much coverage except in the P&C. Why are we so quiet? Is this why a mcgoldrick rumour has started.

It does seem rather quiet, but then I would much rather it was this way than if for example we were reneging on tax bills, or without any kind of ground to play on, or maybe even trying to drum up more support with ever decreasing attendances from an already very low level.

Hopefully, if the few things we do hear about are to be believed, then a new stadium will be finally be starting to take shape next year and we will have another couple of signings before the start of the 2010 season!

Believe and it will happen!

It means stability, which is much better than going up or going down or replacing the entire squad.

...this is not a child like post, this is a post from a lifelong Castleford supporter on a Castleford Forum merely pointing out that no news isn't necessarily bad news for us and a number of other clubs would much prefer to trade our position to that they find themselves in!

i am same you danny but it always going be because alot of our players are now on longer contracts.

Celtic, Widnes, Halifax, Leigh, Barrow, Workington, Sheffield, Dewsbury, Whitehaven, Batley, Doncaster, Salford, Lock lane, Smawthorne Panthers, Cas Panthers, Fryston, Townville, Westgate, Wakefeld, Eastmoor i cant be bothered with any more, but if you want to add some more feel free.
