Wakefield's got a better chance of a new stadium before us blah blah blah.

There's not enough funding in place blah blah blah.

I know because someone saw it written on a bog wall at the council/Waystone/Hearwell Stadium blah blah blah.

Hope it all goes well - but still sounds like a few hurdles to over come regarding funding and if/when things happen. As with all planning & tenders etc you tend to have more faith once building starts, good luck.

We will be down to one architect very shortly and should then get a better idea of what the stadium will look like. I'm now very confident that RW can pull this off and can't wait to see the build start next summer.

Oh by the way to avoid any confusion i thought i better let you know that Christmas is coming to Wakefield on the 21st of December this year!!! From what i hear Santa has to drop a present off early cos it's too big for Christmas eve....

- Personally I'm not getting my hopes up, more than likely just be Old Ted's Christmas take-away order!
