I think if we get a stuffing at leeds our crowd could be rather shocking against wire. Hope im wrong but cant really blame people for staying away i mean we are hardly pulling out all the stops to get fans in.

It does make you think that the club are in the same mind set seeing as they have made the wire game £10.00 in, it really was a master stroke of wrightys makeing the anouncment when he did. I dont think there were too many people on here who bought into the idea that our new ground would appear or not untill bricks were being laid at least, so i think wrighty would have been best off saveing his anouncment untill things were going a bit better on the field then it might have been cushoned a bit but as it stands now i think many people are on a real downer before the season has even begun and a stuffing at leeds could kill it on the fist day, we would have been better off with the old saying of ignorance is bliss, well thats what i think anyway.

Disco - Expansion of the game is a good thing, undoubtedly, but in the main what people simply want to assert is that you don't kill the roots to spread the tree.

The Curtism - The battles are fought on the field and the friends are made in the bar. There's no hatred among real men.

EFC - In Martinez We Trust

Yes lets vote with our feet!

We can become the leagues first non-supporters.....
Lets get the team on a right downer for their first home game and let the RFL and Sky have a field day on us!

Or shut the whinging up, get donned in your replica top and shout your hearts out for the lads....you decide what you want to do.

I know what I will be doing.

Never go by friendly attendances to be honest. The game against Huddersfield was on a Tuesday night (no surprise low attendance) and the other home fixtures were against Gateshead and Bradford (on Boxing Day when football was on and all that messing around with the kick off time).

Absolutely right, it's Super League attendances that count and the preseason games bear no reflection on what will happen throughout the season. I remember talking with a few people on Boxing Day and we were saying the changes in the kick-off times may have reduced the attendance by up to 1000.

If you are a true supporter then you attend the matches and get behind the lads no matter what is happening. Leave the running of the club to those employed to do so, they are no worse than the people before them. I have supported Cas for 47 years and there hasn't been much to choose between the Boards of Directors, they can only work with what they have. We have proved twice that we are among the most loyal fans in the game so let's keep it that way and try to spur the lads onto a better season than last year. If we get the new ground I think we all know that that is no guarentee that we will get a licence next time around when one of the NF teams is to come up if they have met the requirements.

why all the negativity? surely before a ball is kicked there should be some optimism!

cant see why cas wont do just as well this season as last.
