Other things to add of interest perhaps.
'Buy a brick', has now sold almost 500 bricks.
The club has been approached by 5 or 6 coaches in application for the Cas coaching position for next year. The subject continues to be raised with TM, however there is nothing yet to suggest he will stay. Andy Hay was mentioned, which lead RW to talk about his recommendation for the appointment of Steady from within, hence the suggestion of appointment from within seemed to fizzle out!
Sales of season tickets through out SL are down, on last year. Cas are looking into new ideas. One suggestion raised was a 'flexi-book', of say 7-10 tickets which could be used at any game.
Approx 30 Hull KR fans were removed from the ground on Sunday due to mis-conduct and fighting with each other.
RW requested the fans to be on their absolute best behaviour during the home games against Celtic and Wolves....for obvious reasons.
The flood lights have been fixed. However they only omitt 300 lux of light, 2012 regulations require minimum of 1000 lux.
The new match day programme was hailed as a sucess, as is the website for communicating information.
Cas recently gave out 2500 tickets to school kids in the area for either the Huddersfield or HKR game, of which 500 were used.
Xscape has raised an objection to the new stadium, on the basis of fans using the Xscape parking facilities. The extra business that it may bring Xscape before and after the game was duly mentioned.
Parking facilities in the design meet with Wakey Councils requirements.
Rumour of the Wildcats wanting to re-open ground share discussions were quashed. The Directors clearly stated that Wakey have nothing to bring to the party.
It was recognised that within the CTSC and Cas Tigers fan base in general there are persons of various backgrounds, skill sets and professions. Those who feel that they have something to offer the club, at what ever level, voluntary or otherwise, should contact the club via the website and offer their skills or services.
* It was also requested that to counter ballance any objections, supporters and neutrels should write to the club in support of the new stadium before the end of March 2011. Basically saying how much they are in support of the idea, how it will encourage them to use Exscape before and after the game, how they will use public transport more to attend the game.....'be real but use your imagination' all types of good things etc *
......as the day goes on, if anything else comes to mind I will add it!
