Im not surprised Clayton has been re-signed.

With the fine for the crowd trouble,and the Tony Martin fiasco,money is probably abit tight. We will need a cheap,limited but professional player
on board,which is what Ryan is.

We can have a whinge, but i know we'll get behind them all again next year!

If i was you i would have kept Ryan boyle instead he is a better player and probably on less money.

Have to agree, Boyle would be the better prospect.

Also with Gatesheads trouble we should re-sign Michael Knowles.

well i have got to be honest and say this was deffinatly one of the rumours i was hopping was not true but unfortunatly this all just seems to come down to the state that we are in financialy at the moment and we are having to pin our hopes on whatever we can afford, lets be honest when you have got rid of a player twice why would you think he was going to be any better third time around, and the worst of it is i dont think there is anything else on the cards, untill we are strugling with injuries after the pre season that is.

Boyle didnt leave because of money issues, he left to get more first team rugby.

As for knowles agree completley.

I wonder if we could get a dispensation for hendo.......

and payne, when watching him in the academy he always seemed a good aggressive forward who could put a big hit in, the kind of player we need in my opinion

Payne was released by Thunder even before these troubles hit. If they don't believe he's good enough for them then I doubt he's SL calibre unfortunately.
