Why would they move or change their name? Anyway, most teams have changed their names in recent years (maybe you're too young to remember when teams weren't called things like, bulled, tigers, rhinos etc). also teams have moved to new grounds, so what is the big deal?

Just dont like the game being made a laughing stock by people with no interest in the game , other than what they can scrounge out of it ?
Are the RFL still funding the Welsh joke ??????

FYI when these name changes occured , the death bell of rugby league as a competative sport was rung for the first time, enjoy your venture into a sport that you know nothing about and care even less. I give you 5 years max, even less if you had to fund yourselves

A lot of presumptions and drivel spoken there. Who are the people making a laughing stock of the game? What Welsh joke are you referring to? The national side or a Welsh based team in the SL?

Obviously "bulled" was a typo, that happens sometimes when I type on my mobiles tiny keyboard. BTW if you wish to pick on typos why not check out your own (it is not normal to type a space before a comma). Who knows nothing or cares nothing for the sport. You seem to be directing that comment at me. I saw my first league match probably about 40 years ago.

Let's remember that Castleford had the nickname of 'Tigers' well before the introduction of Super Dooper League, in fact the tiger had been an integral part of our club badge for many, many years before.
So actually you wouldn't have to be too young to remember Cas being known as The Tigers (although I'm sure there are plenty who remember us as the Glass Blowers!)

Ignore him, he's just jealous that Cas won't be moving location now Wakefield are firm favourites for that last SL spot. A name change to Castleford Rovers is on the cards though.

, How long did it take you to come up with that one. Anyway if i were you i would keep my powder dry for a while because if LCC get there way the only move you lot will be makeing will be to NL1 for a few years

I suppose the winding up order and proposed name change to wrexham crusaders are bitter presumptions.
