"The new stadium project is big development and by its very nature takes time.

"In addition the state of the economy is slowing things down. However, we are ambitious and want a 15,000 capacity stadium.

"We have been looking for additional investment and have found a potential partner which could be a catalyst for moving forward.

"We need to appoint a design team soon and confirm the ownership and management structures. We are working on the brief for the designers at the moment.
