good signing for you - he has been great this season for us and has linked in well to put wingers in for overlap tries on a number of occasions. His enthusiasm is infectious and I wish him all the best.

As Catpiss has pointed out, watch out for the pies coming along slagging him off - they have this bizarre unhealthy obession with Richie Mathers for some unknow reason.

Good signing i think, just see where matterson plays him. we are all thinking he has come as a fullback but TM may see him as a straight replacment for shenton (nothing would surprise me), that is if he is going which i think we all know he is.

Mathers is quality. He plays with his heart on his sleeve. Has the odd brain fart now and again but is a great organiser & communicator. Undecided about Bret coming to us at this time. Wish Mathers well.

Hopefully at centre.

If Shenton goes that leaves us bare in the centre with only Evans (injury-prone) and Arundel (young) to cover and Thompson covering centre too. Putting McGoldrick there and getting another centre in would be great.
