I went and sat in the family stand with my dad just behind this mob.

Most were about 16-18 but were lead by a regular muppet Ive seen causing bother at many a ground.

I left the stand because of 'em and I support Cas!

I know every club has bother causers but this season I feel we have a growing number of them. Not too many club persist with many foul language chants but we do and it has to change.

Its no good going on about RL family image if we are not prepared to do anything to protect it. I was embarrassed being a Cas fan in that stand and left to go stand.

I have to admit I was disappointed with the language of a small minority of our fans, I really don't see what they get out of it and feel sorry for anyone, Cas or Salford supporters alike, with kids at the game.

It really should be up to the club (Salford in this case) to sort out the offenders who were extremely offensive. The Salford club blasted out a warning about offensive language, but failed to enforce the threat, cry wolf springs to mind, I just wish these so called supporters would think twice before uttering such garbage and use their energy to get behind the Cas players, instead of rubbishing the opposition, why not be positive for a change.

I feel I have to come on here and complain about a section of your fans at tonights game. I do not tar you all with the same brush. I was actually sat with a friend who is a cas fan and he looked embarrassed by the fans behaviour. I sat in our family stand this evening partly for cover but mainly to ensure my 4 year old son could a) see and b) nit be subjected to bad language. Instead a group of your fans decided they would come up and proceed to stand for much of the game. When asked politely if they would mind sitting so that my son could see all I got was abuse. They continued this throughout the game and in fact got worse. They seemed to delight in the fact that this not only annoyed me but frightened my son. They ignored and taunted stewards knowing full well that they outnumbered them and there was little they could do. We told one of them they were out of order as this was the family stand and his answer was "we don't give a f***". I feel very sorry for the good people of castleford that you have a section of such dispicable supporters that would make a 4 year old firghtened in the family stand at his own ground.

The main culprit was the same freak whom gets kicked out of every away ground Cas play at. His name has been mentioned on here numerous times before. Middle-aged middle length straw hair was wearing yellow cas shirt drunk as usual and appropriately enough carrying a bananna. I fully sympathise that your family had to be subjected to this half-wit and his deranged minions. Should be easy for you to find his name and I hope you report him - several other club officials will no doubt support you in ridding the game of this loser.

To die of thirst we have no fear.
As long as we get Holts' beer!!!!

: Sun Jul 19, 2009 9:52 am
As suspected there are many fair minded decent people expressing their opinions on here and we (as the Salford fans who were particularly in the firing line of these individuals) appreciate your words of sympathy and support. We only go to the game to support our team as did the majority of Cas fans and as mentioned before we were sat with friend from Cas who we meet up with each time we play each other.

We are also the first to admit that we have our fair share of morons who call themselves fans. Flares and pints of beer thrown etc. We are as embarrassed by them as you are of these idiots and we as fans should never put up with it!!!!

Cheers to all and good luck in the play-offs.... I doubt greatly if we'll make them now (it was an outside chance anyway even if we won all our home games... we'll try to beat Wakey and Leeds for you tho!!!! )
