Signings which, I suspect, reflect our financial situation more than anything else so the alternative, especially in Ryan's case, was most likely promoting such as Massey/Davies.

After signing Snitch, he aint gonna make the starting line up. Ferres, Jones, Widders and Snitch challenging for 2nd row positions, I can't see him playing unless we have a couple of people on the sidelines!

If that was the case, there would be no such point in resigning him.

The reserves next year is under 20's. Therefore he wont be playing unless it is for the 1st team.

Agreed. It seems a strange thing to do. Why add to one of our best covered positions by adding a 1st team sqaud player?

I suspect we will see him preferable to Googie in the centres if we get anyone injured - expect to see him on the bench most weeks, gives options I suppose.....

Googie might not be coming back, have you thought of that one because the tony martin thing still hasnt gone away, i suppose it all depends if he wants to come back or not.
