Most people on here seem to be against pre-match live entertainment. Let's have a poll.

I'm not against pre-match entertainment, I'm against the club wasting money on nobodies who aren't going to bring people through the gates.

Like I said on one of the other seven billion threads about pre-match: When you have 7000 people in a ground, all of whom have wildly diverse tastes (apart from following the same rugby team), it's going to be nigh on impossible to put on a show that everyone thinks is wonderful (especially on a budget). Sure, it would be nice to get Bruce Springsteen or Bon Jovi in, but until the day the Superbowl gets held darn t'lane it's simply not going to happen.

If you don't like it, go to the bar or the bouncy castle or the facepainters or maybe just read your programme instead.

There are options out there that probably aren't going to break the bank that will bring in more people though. The 2 people the club have put on so far this season aren't going to come cheap but aren't famous enough to create any interest either so I don't see the point in having them at all?

The club have been talking up the acts so far as if they've been something to write home about "she once performed at the Royal Albert Hall" and "he was once in Liberty X" but when it comes down to it, they're rubbish and nobody is going to come and see them who wouldn't have been at the game anyway.

The club would never put any heavy rock music on so I'm never going to be satisfied with the type of performers they put on but even I can see the basic principle of putting on a performer to boost interest in the game to any fans who otherwise wouldn't attend otherwise they might as well just have the dancers out there doing another routine.

Nice snippet from Ray French in the League newspaper yesterday praising what The Jungle has to offer for families, including the entertainment.
