I wouldn't. I like Wainwright and he has the passion but he doesn't have the pace really.

Still, having Mathers in the backline would solve a lot of problems.

Citing England internationals in the current p!ss average national squad era is not perhaps the greatest indicator of ability. Shenton for me is extremely ordinary in a league of extraordinarily average English qualified backs.

Strangely enough, given Sky's current obsession with Warrington, we do get to see him most weeks, he was distinctly average (or just below) against Leeds on his last outing.

Indeed it was that one performance that grants you the insight to remark on his lengthy SL career. Not withstanding said ability that led an NRL club to entice him to a League significantly better than ours.
