Of course as you say, Friday would have been a better option, if it had been in the original fixture list, but I imagine the club thought like everyone else (including the England players), that England would walk the group and be playing Saturday. OK it's not ideal playing on Sunday morning (would have preferred 12.30) but it's preferable to Sunday night and I'm sure more people would have been put out if they had changed it to any time on Saturday.
