Was a great loss to Wakey when he went to Bradford. Think he made his debut for us in the "No fear it's only Kear" game at Cas. Man of the match performance in our win too.

Any excuse to bring these games up eh? I swear to god I know one wakey fan who still has these games on his sky box and keeps trying to get me to watch! And when that banner came into focus I think the entire Wheldon road end let out a collective groan as we had just given wakey a massive mental boost with such flagrant disrespect.
Good luck to James Evans though always seemed a classy player with an excellent attacking ability and defense was top notch.

I'd prefer a team of Jimmy Evans to a team of a few so-called superstars and a few ordinary journeymen.

Some called Jimmy a "Journeyman". I'd prefer to call him a bloody good, honest player. Superb value for money. Glad it was you guys he went to when he left us. I was very pleased when we signed him. We should never have let him go.
