She told me the sad tale of the Hull FC players stopping for a KFC, walking into the services and being chanted at by the KR fans "Loser's, Loser's"

I was a fantastic gent, bought her a lemonade to try cheer her up after Cas' crushing victory, didn't gloat at all, then she literally ran off!
( Ok, I might of manipulated that a bit).

Seems FC's number 11 is carrying his loser trait on with him!

Stevo, Robbie Paul, Gary Hetherington, Dean Widders & Adam Milner were to rugby related stars I bumped into on my travels this weekend!

Clarke is right on being able to stage 7 games because of the roof. That said as a showpiece you wouldnt choose to do it at this time, opening weekend or not. Reasons?

Fitness
Interplay - new players=mistakes
weather
Valentines/close to Christmas weekend at a time of financial strife
6 nations week so not going to get the same exposure.
Amended rules which players and refs have to get used to.

Keep it as a May weekend but find a way to promote it so the stadium is full at some point during the day!

For me let this be where we look at the expansion of the game, taking our teams and product to new areas.
Thinking along lines of Coventry stadium (is it still Ricoh?)

Wasn't really thinking about expansion
