Cas fans will probably be able to tell me if im wrong, but as i understand it Chase is OOC this season. If the rumours of him signing a new deal are false then no transfer fee would be involved, and Wigan have plenty to play with salary cap wise for big wages. If he has signed a two year extension its irrelevant anyway !!!

No, 2013

And his LAWYER said he's contracted until 2015 so the "rumour" of him signing a new deal is hardly a rumour.

Because Lawyers never lie do they? or even bend the truth to help out a clients case, i hope you are right Gronk but every passing day is making me wonder why the club have not announced it yet??

I very much doubt a lawyer would lie about the length of someone's contract in a court.

As to why it hasn't been announced, I'll guess that the club know we wont be making the playoffs and there's season tickets to sell so if you wait until the bad news is out of the way then spring the Rangi has a new contract! story, sales will increase (or so they would hope).
