"I'm sorry, but I would hope that we would beat Cas with a 1 day turnaround."

An arrogant Wigan fan a few days before we stuffed them 18-4 at the JJB.

Re: Ainscough : Thu Feb 25, 2010 10:06 pm
Definitely better for Ainscough, last week he was scoring versus an average Championship 2 side in Swinton, now he's playing against a side who were 4th last year in Super League, so it's a chance for him to show he is SL class & hopefully score a few tries along the way. You'd assume if he goes okay for us & Wigan don't pick up injuries, surely no reason why the loan can't be extended?

I cant argue with the two posts as it is good for Cas and Ainscough - BUT - why establish a system when its clear that the existing loan system seems to be better?

Do one thing and stick with it from the point of view of the RFL. It may well work for Ainscough and Cas, but I can see some players suffering from this type of situation. Im looking at this from the point of view of the whole game.

I'd presume so also especially with us being without Phelps atm meaning Goulding being on the wing. Only way he would be recalled is if there is two outside backs injured at once. But even then we may play Pryce or one of our other youngster to stop Ainscough being disturbed.

I can see were your coming from, but i cant see there being too many situations like this, with Widnes allowing Wigan to cancel the dual agreement they could of refused but i presume they are gratefull for the two players on loan in Farrell and Davies. Plus it wouldnt surprise me if another youngster from Wigan (Charnley) was to go out to Widnes for the time being if they needed him. But they seem to be happy with the players they have returning from injury themselves to replace Ainscough..

I am in full support of signing young ainscough i think he will be a very good player, but what does this say for Thompson is TM saying he not good enough/ready for super league?

Jordan is not a winger full stop.

Great signing for the club.....just hope they can sign him on a longer term...

Properbaly One of the hottest prospects in SL ...Just need to sort out his postionional deffensive play.

But hes got Speed to burn, offf the mark like a rocket and very powerfull A TRUE WINGMAN.

Probs the only true Winger weve had since the days of St John and Plangy.

Good Signing TM...just remeber...hes a Winger, keep him there

P.S Now we just need another...No disrespect to Wainwright, can't fault the lads commitment, he gives his all..but does lack in the skill factor

as a wigan fan what do cas fans think of ainscough three tries should have 4. great attacking winger but his defence lets him down allowing cockane to score when he should have drop on the ball. in the early 2009 was a great fans favourite at wigan but his defence is bad

A great performance and exactly what we've needed for years - a pacey winger who can get onto the end of our set moves.
