Pitches are 'turned around' over night all the time its done at the galpharm, kc, headingly, stoop and jjb all the time and we play 7 games in two days on the same pitch every year with no problems.

The DW and KC ensure that there aren't any Friday-Saturday fixture clashes, while Headingley and the Stoop require less changes with the pitch markings etc. Just accept it that the RFL didn't want to take a risk with the weather, and there aren't any suitable venues in Yorkshire.

Not when they can avoid it - I know Wigan and Hull request to avoid such clashes and would imagine it's similar at Huddersfield.

Feel free to go through the fixtures, but you will find there isn't a single scenario at Wigan in the past two seasons where a rugby game has taken place less than 24 hours before a football game.

If you are still not happy

Ring the RFL and tell them , they are the ones who have changed it , you never know in a few years they might shift a game to the new stadium at glasshoughton , if it ever gets built

Have leigh fans ever been able to get the rfl to change there mind when they've been unhappy with a decision?

We both know the fans can do nothing to change it, the rfl have made a poor decision that is worse for the fans, players and sport but we have to live with it now.

Still struggling to see how a game definitely going ahead is worse for anyone concerned than hoping that the weather forecasters are right.
