Erm yeah, that's not looking too great. Do we have to wait for another planning permission to drag on before we can even start building? Could be another few years...

Are we waiting for full planning approval or just approval for the current land to be used for a supermarket?

Legally no, we could start building now. Financially it seems so. Maybe there's some money in the coffers to make a start but we won't be able to complete until Opus Land (North) Ltd and Palmer Capital make the funds available.

I agree I think it's certainly something that needs to be cleared up!
But based upon previous statements that we should be in by 2013 surely this would mean something along the lines of approval or outline planning surely!
