Apologies for this blatant plug for Kippax Rugby League Club !!!

Kippax Welfare host their annual Memorial Sevens Tournament on the 30th June from their Longdyke Lane base. This is always a well attended, enjoyable afternoon of rugby with free entry for supporters and prize money for the winning team.

All money raised goes to help ensure that the well established rugby team at Kippax from Under 8's right through to Open Age can continue to prosper as they have in recent years.

First match kicks off at 1pm. Anyone interested in entering a team, please either PM myself or contact the club on 0113 2864908, any evening.

Heres looking forward to what is always a great afternoon of rugby !!

Can't understand it. My lad has started playing RL and hasn't been invited. Ok, so he's only six but that's nearly seven.

maybe the organisers decided agianst inviting him to protect him from the likes of Queens and hunslet etc etc

Unfortunately this was only created in the last few weeks of the season, and because of that didn't get much notice at all, but with preseason hitting all of the panthers hard, were now hoping that the forum can kick off and more members will join up. As i say, preseason has just started for nearly all the teams now, barring a few of the younger sides and the season is coming quick, so there is sure to be a lot of updates in the coming weeks. Please sign up at will, and enjoy. Making junior RL a better place for all.
