The rumour is ridiculous.

The fees you have associated to westerman since the rumours started are equally ridiculous.

I'm a fan who wants neither to leave. If you let 'em go for peanuts then you risk the wrath of losing fans. Therefore, start high and barter. If Hull want him or them that much they'll put more money on the table.

Westerman, with his potential and current value, is easy worth £200k+ and Chase is literally irreplaceable, therefore, his value is pretty much priceless and he has a contract at Cas for the next three years, I think. Therefore, I think at least £500k for Chase is not unreasonable.

I should add that £1m was a combined total for both players, not £1m each.

cheap at a mill each, but the polecats are talking so were looking at a decent tax rebate plus half of them selling their arses on westgate for at least a month to raise the cash ror rangis boots pmsl

Chase i believe would be worth a significant figure. The figures you've had for westerman however are what i find ridiculous. Myler was 200k and also had 2 years left on his contract i think it was?

If i thought you suggested 1m each i would of left you up on cloud 9

If you don't get a franchise for 2012 Chase would go for nothing so if the board are thinking along them lines it might be worth getting some brass for him.

I think the Board will be doing everything in the power to make sure we retain our licence.

I think it's fair to say that the way the BOD handle any serious interest in Chase will reflect how confident they are of retaining a license. He effectively represents the parachute payment which, along with the proven loyalty of our support, could give us a better chance of fighting our way back than the likes of Wakey/Salford would ever have.
