Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery.......

I will look to the moment, and miraculously, the future will take care of itself.

Radio 5 Live, Sat, April 14th, 2007,...Dave Whelan, "In Wigan, rugby will always be king"

'I was certain, positive, convinced, and yet..........unsure'

'It's only rock 'n' roll, but I like it'

Worry will not prevent destiny from unfolding.

you got your digits mixed up.

The fulltime score is actually 648-6

Attendance - sell out, with 30,000 Cas fans stood outside.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

Do you even have that many fans?

I rekon you might beat us though we are poor atm, your fans (the ones you bring) will be up for it and will get behind the team if they score early on, although your fans were shocking last year.

You bring up the salary cap and Wigan fans tell us to stop living in the past and now they're at it.

I'm worried about getting stuck in traffic on the way there on Friday. 37 coaches are leaving Wheldon Road early on in the morning and then coming back for the rest.

Numbers were poor, even for a friday night.

Didnt make any noise, any noise they did make was aimed at the Wigan fans.

My mate saw Cas fans making trouble outside the ground.

The Wigan RLFC Song
(by Jeff O'Toole)

Happy and I'm smiling,
Walk a mile to drink your water.
You know Id love to love you,
And above you there's no other.
Well go walking out
While others shout of war's disaster.
Oh, we won't give in,
Lets go living in the past.

Once I used to join in
Every boy and girl was my friend.
Now there's revolution, but they don't know
What they're fighting.
Let us close out eyes;
Outside their lives go on much faster.
Oh, we wont give in,
Well keep living in the past.

-edit-

Sorry, it's by Jethro Tull

Numbers will always be poor on a Friday night in winter especially from a club that doesn't travel away in very large numbers.

Cas's away support particularly in SL over the last few years is not what it was, probably due to the clubs poor form and low expectations of getting a value for money performance.

Some Cas fans thought your clubs cheating was responsible for us spending the 2007 season in NL1 and put a possible SL franchise spot in jeopardy, so some bad feeling and animosity was always going to be on the cards.

They'd have been better served letting it lie or at least aiming it towards that shyster Maurice Lindsay rather than Wigan fans as a whole, but as I say, feeling we're running high.

It's yesterdays news now and I think most Cas fans have moved on, Mo's gone and Cas got a franchise.
