So to say Dicko isn't good enough compared to Hodgson on tonights showing is a little strange. To then use El Masri is even dafter since the guy just broke the record for NRL points. I'd love us to have one of the worlds best kickers in our side, but we haven't. Has anyone ever noticed that the best goal kickers often end up at the best clubs, who pay more and win more? We seem to be missing the point that Dixon's positional play is simply not good enough and the tries that Hodgson stored in both halves, showed that Dixon came in on the centre who was covered by Evans leaving the extra man. This to me shows that he is not a winger but in fact a centre which is was bought for. Now this is NOT a witch hunt, but we have a quality established winger on one side, but need a class winger on the other and before you start Wainwright is not the answer. We need a Blanch type player who has the full package.

Aye, but i was only commenting on Dickos kicking, especially in the last two blustery games. Dixon has already made quite a few positional mistakes this season for me and i'm sure Terry has also noticed this. I totally agree with you about his defence.

Well. i thought it was an excellent game. No disgrace for cas and a shame we didnt at least get a draw, but Shudds took the spoils and fair play to them.

Wasn't disagreeing with you Marshman, it was the fact that your post made the most sense to reply to. TBH I think there is a lack of class wingers in the competition, but there were a few up for grabs in the off season and I for one would have gone for Rikki Sherriff, but I supose that's easier said than done when your own town club come calling. The money spend on Widders would have been better being spent elsewhere, but that's another story........

I can't understand all the comments about kicking from the last two games. It seems a lot of people have been completely oblivious to the strength of the wind on both occasions.
