Er... no. Really. None at all. Every match he plays in I hate him a little bit more. His attack on Cunningham a few weeks ago was one one the biggest cheap shots I have ever seen. If someone hit him like that he would be on his backside for a week.

I completly agree, he tried the same with King at the Semi Final and then with Bridge the week later..

The sooner someone brings this lad back down to earth the better!

Its not about jealousy, look at Richie Myler, dont hear about word about him because his attitudes right.. Its when you see a young lad coming into the game with the wrong attitude, come on its the only thing the Saints fans and Wire fans agree on and now it seems the Castleford fans too!

No you do not hear a word about him because he does not beat teams on his own.

This thread is pathetic.

Sargent is a player i would love at Wigan but he targeted Tomkins with a cheap shot and hit him clean. Tomkins took it and i am not surprised it took a bit of time to recover from came back and put in a match winning performance.

Apart from scoring 3 tries not sure what he did to annoy the Cas fans, can somebody please explain?

Sour grapes starting a thread about this bloke. Has all the qualities to be a great half back. Classy already. His clinical finishing was the difference between the sides tonight.

Spot on, he's a class act and that class was the difference between the sides.

Well done to the Goons for bringing this young British halfback through the ranks

I kept the faith and I kept voting
Not for the iron fist but for the helping hand
For theirs is a land with a wall around it
And mine is a faith in my fellow man
Theirs is a land of hope and glory
Mine is the green field and the factory floor
Theirs are the skies all dark with bombers
And mine is the peace we knew
Between the wars

This has nothing to do with the Sarge incident. On 2 occasions in the 2nd half he went down looking for a penalty and pretended to be seriously injured. Personally after all that has happend in the game this year especially at Wakefield I was sickened by this. If a player is injured badly then the time it takes for them to get treatment is critical. If every team has 1 or 2 Tomkins' in their team the game would be stopping every 2 minutes while they found out if they were faking it or not.

Serious injuries will unfortunately happen in our sport, when I look at all the serious injuries I have seen over the years like Crowther for Hull a few years ago who correct me if I am wrong never played at the top level after his injury and to a lesser extent Westerman this year who thankfully wasn't seriously injured Tomkins is an insult to those players who have had their careers cut short by injury.

I can only assume that his antics were not picked up by sky. Sort yourself out Sam, the aussies in the 4 nations will point and laugh at you rolling around on the floor.

I suppose your view on the matter depends on who you support, but I wouldnt mind betting that he doesnt play against the quins.

Tomkins scored three times( not counting the first which was a free run to the line) the other two were made by pathetic takling attempts by Westerman. Both of the leuli trys if you watch the reply Westerman was also in the frame not doing his tackling.
