George Bush says 'we are losing the war on drugs'. Well you know what that implies? There's a war going on, and people on drugs are winning it! Well what does that tell you about drugs? Some smart, creative motherfookers on that side."

But how many are first team regulars? Erm, Ferguson and who else?

Cas have Westerman, Shenton, Boyle, Owen, Huby who are all first team regulars or have first team experience at the top level.

Add to that Massey, Arundel and Thompson have all played top flight games.

And then add to that add Walker, Gledhill, Davies and Cording who all have full time professional contracts. I make that 12 players which exceeds your 7 players that have never played a game in SL or NL.

Also, add to that our past record of promoting players throughout the past decade and we more than out class Wakefield in that department.

Our stadium has three covered areas and only one full open end compared to your three-quarters open stadium. Ours is of much better standard than Belle Vue despite both being unfit for purpose.

Wakey have Fergi, Murphy, Bibb, George all recently promoted from the academy, Jay Pitts who has just signed for Leeds has been promoted over the last 2 years. Out of the others James Davey. Luke Blake and Dale Morton have been promoted from the academy this year and have been awarded with full time contracts.

Lets not Forget Matt Blaymire, Danny Brough and Steve Snitch all come from Wakeys academy.

Of course lets not forget who finished topped the academy table this season

The reality is that both clubs have excellent youth teams. The only difference is at Wakey we don't suffer from that superiority complex. We can accept that other teams also have equally good youth policies.

Hang on. Nowhere am I talking about youth teams. I'm talking about the ability for players to make the transition to regular SL players. A massive difference. There's no doubt that Wakefield have improved their youth policy ever since Kear came in but the undue pressure of the SL licencing criteria does that.

But over the past decade it's plain to see that Cas academy has provided lots of clubs with players. And I'm sure anyone involved in RL would say that Cas's ability to make first grade players is and has been superior to that of Wakefield's.

So you don't want to answer my direct question then? Okay.. I take it just two season in lower leagues (and champions both times) is yet another point to Cas.
:D :D

Got to give way to you there matey but its a bit unfair throwing that in not having been relegated from SL how could we come back up as champions, hth with your direct question as well.

↲ personally i think sherwin has performed well. I would like to look to the stats on how many points has sherwin created. Lets not forget he is crackin with the boot. So defenders have not got an idea of who or if we are going to kick. There would be others out of the squad in my eyes earlier. But at the moment i would only build upon the squad. Its working out

Shifty has missed majority of each season he has been with us.

There would definitely be others out of the door first but he would be up there

Imho Brough is 10 times the kicker Sherwin is
