Yes it would, cant see many cas fans following the team there, no one i know would, it would effectivley kill cas off, would rather drop down a league, cas should play in cas and no where else.

Cas should play in Cas, cant fault your logic there. But if things dont work out for either one of the clubs I for one would hate having to go to GH to watch Wakey, but being realistic if thats what it takes then that is what I would do because the survival of the club takes priority over my own personal preferences and as a fan of the club surely its better to at least have the opportunity to watch them play in the league everybody wants to be in irrespective of whose ground it is than die a slow death in the lower leagues because of peoples stubborness to come to terms with the reality of it. I know I am slightly biased but if we had to go to Cas it would be a lot harder to take in because we would be going to your ground, Where as if you came to Stanley you would not be sharing our ground but in fact but a community stadium which is in essence as much yours as ours.

Its just the way i feel chissit, i support my home town team if they dont play in my town anymore there not my hometown team, to me we become a methly team then using castleford colours. Any game where you have to catch a bus to get to isnt a home game. If its a choice between losing our identity and dropping down a league i would rather drop down a league. I disagree that dropping down a league would be more likely to kill us off, if we move into methly our crowds will drop massivley and either the club will go bust or they will make us merge. i think we have enough loyal supporters to start a new club in championship 1 (ala sheffield, gateshead) but i would rather go from sl to the championship than start from scratch.

Yet funnily enough only around 5000 bother putting their hand in their pocket and go to games.

So around 10000 will sign a petition and expect other people to pay for it.

How many would sign the pettition if they were also signing up to pay £1200 each towards the stadium - probably very few.

The bottom line is that if 2 teams were going to permanently share a stadium the RFL would favour one for SL and another for the championship. Having 2 SL clubs in the same stadium is unlikely to a runner.

If any other club in SL was in the same position, how many fans would pay for thier own pocket!!??

That is why it is a stupid post!!!!

Can you not understand that casual supporters want to sit/stand in a new stadium, with cover and good facilities???

Look at Hull and Warrington..........the same thing will happan to Wakey and Cas and Salford and Saints.

Just grow up please.
