For once we have a number of options/permutations, especially on the interchange, and I'm not sure yet which are likely to work best against any given opposition. The one thing about which I am clear is that we must have an hooker among the subs and refrain from either misusing Jones there or disrupting our shape by switching Chase/Orr. So if Milner is fit he must be on the bench as far as I'm concerned. For balance and fitness/ favouritism aside we should look something like this:

Mathers
Youngquest
Arundel
Isa
Dixon
Chase
Orr
Fozzard
Hudson
Huby
Snitch
Ferres
Aspinwall

Milner plus 3 from
Walker/Emmett/McGoldrick/Jackson/Widders (probably in that order)

mcgoldrick will play all season if he is fit , regardless of form. TM will not have the balls the drop him mainly due to his massive salary .

McGoldrick could be out for the season and is likely to miss this weekend through injury. This is due to a flare-up to a knee injury that happened last season and he has played with. Should it not clear up, he may require surgery.

We should go with a big but mobile pack as Wakeys dont have the biggest pack, if we win the forwards battle we could put a score on them. But i expect it to be close.

No space for Jones this week unfortunately but it nice to have a bit of competition for places for once.

I can see both missing out but Apsinwall has anything but a suspect defence. He is probably quite a bit underdone coming back from his injury.
