Just admit Leeds have won the GF more than any other team (because they have) and will call it evens with argument twisting.

Well, I can't argue with that because stats say they have (but only because it didn't exist when Saints won the League title back in 1996 and were termed champions). I've admitted that: now will you admit that St Helens are a more successful side across all competitions in total and are the more successful side in the 'salary cap' era as you termed it.

Then we'll call it evens.

In total of trophies yes saints have more. But I question the value of different trophies and records set in the game.

Childs is an outstanding ref & had a great game. Get a grip for fu cks sake. Why anyone would want to take up officiating with the muppets who follow RL is beyond me.

FWIW there is a difference between "the Super League era" and "the salary cap era", but not enough to erase Leeds' deficit in trophies compared to Sintellins.

(It's also worth noting that sgtwilko is a pretty much perfect example of what the ignore user function is for )

If Leeds were rubbish people wouldnt 'hate' us as much as they say they do! Is it any surprise that the 3 most hated sides in SL are Leeds, Saints and Wigan!! the 2 most successful sides in the SL era and the most successful team in British RL!

Teams used to dislike Bradford but now they are rubbish (although they did beat you) people dont care. Warrington are more disliked now than they were 5 years ago because they are winning trophies.

Its quite simple. Fans dislike other successful teams! Fortunately Castleford wont ever have to endure this in the near future!
