Up until chisset posted, it was a bit of good natured banter on the side of some cas fans who, in the past, have had to put up with lots the type of dross that we were posting. That we then get told to "Grow up" by someone who has clearly spat the dummy and can't take a bit of ribbing is ridiculous.

If you don't believe me about the drivel that has come our way, I challenge you to look back through this forum and find out how many times have we been given ill-informed half-statements about our stadium plans with no backup whatsoever from self-appointed "people in the know" from Wakefield. And how many times has vastman (paraphrased in pyeman's post) come on here telling us about our stadium and moaning on about our young players: saying that we're hyping them too much (when the hype he's so bothered about has been fuelled quite a lot by people like your Mr. Kear in the media.)

Hell's teeth, if we cant poke a few jokes in the direction of these people than what on earth is the world coming to? Are Wakefield fans an oppressed minority?

This is not any sort of attempt at flaming. People who know me know I don't do that sort of stuff. If you don't believe that, I defy you to find any unfounded stuff I've posted on the Wakefield board about your team or stadium. I just don't do it.

It's simple... if you're going to come here and try winding people up, telling them to grow up and stuff, what do you expect? Everyone to say "Yes OK, it's true and we'll stop now. And here, have ten bob for some spice." To post like that, you're putting your head on the block and, quite frankly you deserve every shred of mick-taking you get afterwards. As I said earlier, if you can't take it, then don't dish it out. You'll only end up with egg on your face.

Where have i said this is directed at all wakey fans chrissit? its clearley directed at one poster, a troll who comes on these boards constantley to say negative rubbish about cas, you dont have to defend him just because he's trinity, if he supported my team i would distance myself from him as much as possible. I would have thought you would have been pleased about this anouncement, i certainley want wakey to get a new stadium and have said so many times, you do come across as a little bitter with this post. I had no intention of drawing wakey fans into an argument with this post, to be honest i cant see why this would make them want to, and if you read through my posts you'll find that i'm not the sort to start arguments just for the sake of it. Theres no need for name calling either, it doesnt put you in the best light at all.

Two very good posts, would be nice if some posters realised all we want is good discussion and a bit of banter, not childish oneupmanship and name calling.
