In the last 10 years i have to say the most influential player i have seen at cas has to be Broughy, i know it was in NL1 but he was class, he single handedly won us the grand final he knocked the fight out of the early doors and without that who knows where we would be!!
I disagree about it being a single handed performance by Broughy. Granted he was outstanding, however had it not been for the performance of the pack, inspired by Guttenbeil, he wouldn't have had much of a platform to work from. Everyone sings Broughy's praises for that match, but for me Guttenbeil's outstanding performance was easily comparable.

I think huby deserves a mention on this thread, only 23 and has played in 7 seasons for us, stuck with us through thick and thin, sored some good tries, scored alot of goals for us and has put some real hard graft in.

Always had a lot of time for Schicky, but didn't he leave at the end of the 1998 season to be replaced by Dale Fritz?
