Shame by the rules of the game for it not to be a knock on he had to REGAIN possession before putting it down for a try, downward pressure is for a loose ball in the in goal area from a defensive error or kick - not your own knock on.

no, it was never ever a try, even the player himself gave himself up when he slapped the ground in disgust when he missed the ball.

He didn't knock on. I've not read anything yet about the forward pass for one of Ainscough's tries, you remember, the one which also involved a blatant obstruction. Move on, Cas lost.

That wasn't obstruction. The man had already gone through and your man was already committed, hence try given.

NO OBSTRUCTION, cant go to screen for forward pass,
see thread on VT fans from various clubs saying Watts try never was,
