Agreed. A win's a win, but the style of play is so dull.

I've been watching Cas for 30 years and can rarely remember being so bored as at the last two games. It's all one out rugby, no off-loads and no width until we get within 30 metres of the line. I know we've got injuries and new faces in the squad, but for £18 we surely deserve to see more enterprise. We've always been good to watch at Cas, but at the moment even two episodes of Coronation Street is starting to have some appeal.

Does this mean after all these years of tedious boasts, we can finally ditch that most ridiculous tag of "Class Cas"..please let it be so. Hopefully it's the last we hear of Matterson talking balls about been the Harlem Globetrotters of Rugby League.

I've never seen so many people on there mobiles or chatting to one another at last nights game. That goes to show how boring the game was.

From minute one to minute 80 it was the same moves and same plays.
We lack confidence meaning we are playing in our shell.
Not sure how we are gonna change it, our next 3 games wakey/saints/hudds are gonna be very tough, cant see us gettig anything from any of them.

He had a few songs sang to him .

Did'nt really do a great deal tbh, drove the ball in a couple of times thats about it.

Perhaps our inhibited play these last two games has been down to the pressure of not having won at home for so long.

no sorry i cant buy into that i think its just a case of this is the worst cas team that i have seen for donkeys years even worse than the first side that got relegated (with the exception of about 5 or 6 players) and the stlye of coaching is on par with the team, we have had matterson now for 4 years and he is no closer to sorting out our defence now than he was when he first arrived, our only move as such is to continually give the short back on the inside pass and to be honest it has all now got really old hat and boring. I am not one who is calling to get rid of the coach so please dont get me wrong on that as i know that if we did andy hay would probbablly get the job as we have clearly shown as a club that we have no ambition to improve, this was done at the start of the season when mr wright told us all that we had over achieved or in other words get ready for a long season because this side is not as good as last years and lets be honest last years while doing a good job was no great shakes. so i think unless some cas fan wins the lottery in the near future and can force his way onto the board the future of the once classy cas looks very bleak. but on the other hand we may win one of our games over easter and everyone will forget how disjointed and sometimes ugly we have been in our play upto press this season but i am sure if that does happen it wont be too long before we take another nose dive.

Did anyone notice Crusaders players running into each other a couple of times last night?

Saying that, didn't Goldy and Ainscough do the same?
