No, it was Nutley. He said he returned to Aus as after he had signed the contract, the enormity of spending another three years living around the Castleford area hit home.
Well no one put anything on here at the time, and it was quite common knowledge why he asked for a release and it wasnt the area. Have you got a link.

interview with Nutley
What made you return to the English Super League?
"I’ve been over and back twice now… I made a decision to go over there because the money was great, I don’t regret it one bit. But I thought the money would be the be-all and end-all, but it’s a good lesson that money doesn’t bring you happiness… but I didn’t enjoy it and my wife and family didn’t enjoy it. Halfway through the season with Castleford I rang my manager and asked if I could come back to Australia and the Roosters were good enough to give me a start. The club I was at really didn’t look after me that great."
maybe if he hadnt had a sniff at the old gingermingytoot he wouldnt be as critical eh

Ah fair enough, never read that before, though he isnt slagging cas off as such just saying that he wasnt to well looked after, which could mean anything really.

Not slagging Cas off? "The CLUB I was at.." seems high likely he's slagging Cas off to me.

..didnt look after me, which could mean anything, playing in the nrl he's probably used to better training facilities, physio, better housing for his family etc perhaps he thought the attitude shown to him by some at the club was poor, like i said it could mean anything, but its hardly a detailed attack on the club.

Never read that either, what a shame. Still tore some trees up in his time here...
