He didn't knock on. I've not read anything yet about the forward pass for one of Ainscough's tries, you remember, the one which also involved a blatant obstruction. Move on, Cas lost.
Ok, while we're bringing up other decisions in the game:
Cockayne knocking the ball out of Ainscough's arms into touch + Ainscough tackled in the air by Welham - Hull KR head & feed - WRONG Dobson knocks on an up & under, makes a break gets a good 70 yard - play on - WRONG Watts incorrect play the ball & obstruction - try given - WRONG Welham offside for Cockayne try - try given - WRONG Newton elbows Higgins in the face - Hull KR penalty - WRONG Ainscough disallowed try with no conclusive evidence - No try - WRONG
Oh and there was no obstruction on any Cas try, just dummy runners - big difference.
I'M SURE THERE IS NO CORRELATION BETWEEN THE FACT THAT THE FRONT RUNNERS FOR THE 2009 MEDIA WHINGING AWARD ARE FROM GATESHEAD AND HULL FC, FORMERLY THE B*ST*RD-TWINS OF ONE OF RUGBY LEAGUE'S LOUSIER IDEAS.
NO OBSTRUCTION, cant go to screen for forward pass, see thread on VT fans from various clubs saying Watts try never was,
I know full well that they can't go to the VR for a forward pass, but I'd like to think a ref would consult with his assistant, who had obviously seen it, before passing the decision to the VR.
A bit like Silverwood picked up on the black and whites forward pass at the last televised derby game, you'll remember that won't you.

Quite a biased slant to your observations there don't you think?

the derby game between us is IRRELEVANT, what matters is not the fact that Cas got beat the fact they got "done" by an atrocious video ref decision. END OF

This game to a Hull fan is also irrelevant, in fact what are you doing here?
Just food for thought. In normal play, if a man looses control of the ball in a forward direction....yet recovered it just as it hit the ground...that's a knock on isn't it?? Perhaps in the field of play is different from the try scoring area....who knows??
Plenty of positives there Cas, plenty of season ahead yet! C'mon Cas!!!

No seems by the letter of the law, all of them are correct, like (both teams) should have been penalised far more for offisde & holding down. Or in one case, Bentham telling a Hull KR player to "watch those knees" in the tackle when again, by the laws of the game use of the knees is a penalty and card not a warning on the run.

Yes it would be a knock on in open play, and by the rules of the game is still a knock on in the in goal area because losing possession and then touching the ball with the side of your hand at the SAME TIME it hits the floor, is a knock on.

I don't suppose Lovegrove enjoyed his boot sandwhich being force fed to him either but he'll have the stud marks to prove it, we could go on forever on this.

What Steve Ganson does and what the rules are are two completely different things, if it gets him in the spot light he will do it, so congrats Steve and becoming even more of a nice person then before
