wakefield do not need to build a swimming pool there. face it..you are skint and can't get the finance to build at glasshoughton. hope you sort something soon though cos i enjoy the derby games!
We are all skint, we (the clubs who don't already have new stadia) are all desperate. The only difference between Cas and Wakey is that we may have been as both supporters and as a club a little more realistic. As such we have not been dragged into the wonderful world of spin created by RW, where endless unobtainable promises have been made and broken. I mean how many start dates have been posted on here in the last three years, all apparently eminating from the great man.
We always knew the only way we could achieve a new stadium was to have as many partners as possible rather than taking this go it alone mentality. Even when Thornes came crashing down we stuck to that belief. It would be a shame to see Cas or any club came crashing down due to one mans ego and pig headed refusal to co-operate rather than promote self interest.
I think many Cas fans can now smell the coffee, and thankfully it's far from too late for them to do something about it.
No being smug from me, we IMHO are both still a long way off considering 2012 is not that far off. The argument as to who is nearer is purely academic, we are both in danger.
