Bless, and you seriously think a contract is worth the paper its written on nowadays?

A club can only hope to use it to up the ante when a richer club comes calling for one of its contracted players.
When a player or his agent decide that there's more money/prestige elsewhere, then its game over.The best you can hope for is pretty decent replacement and some cash.

Unfair maybe, but it's the way of the world, and the Chief Exec of every club knows this.

You have 2 new stands to build, you wont be able to pay 350k+ for a new stand off you know

Not to mention he's in talks about extending his stay at Cas at the minute beyond 2012...
