And here is a quality example of a Hull fan being both bitter and delusional in one point, and people have a go at me, for no reason too:
For some reason certain Cas fans and Hull fans are getting on there high horses. Both fans can feel aggrieved that on the night Childs one way another cost there teams a try or valuable field position. Certain Hull fans claiming Childs cost us the game which is a fair point to make considering he made some baffling decisions to ease the pressure on the cas line or missed certain incidents. However he did the same with Cas so you could argue you can feel aggrieved that you couldn't play to your full potential and probably penalized you more then he should have done.
I am never a fan of the "best team lost" because in Rugby League in general the best team never loses a game. The point is that last night we will never know who the best team was, Cas defended there goal line very well and I thought we were creating chances at wide but was not taking them.
The point most people are venting is he ruined a game and ultimately has left a sour taste in supporters , coaches and players of BOTH clubs. Cas got the two points in the end nothing can change that but we can change the fact that Childs shouldn't be reffing rugby league games.
What Sean Long did at the end wasn't acceptable IMO however this incident had being masterminded by childs. The players practically brawled every tackle in the second half and this was all because of the frustration both teams had with the referee and he failed to control them.
Well done to Cas and your superb start to the season with no hope of Hull being in the play offs I will be rooting for you come the end of the season.
As for last night we will never know who the best team was in the end, because neither team was allowed to play free flowing stuff.
