No, i honestly think that if he can hit some form will lead the line well - he is a big bloke and an oppurtunity and game time will do him the world of good.

There are championship props who i would prefer over him.

Agreed he does work harder and runs harder than most players in the team, but he doesnt score enough tries for a winger with only 5 last year and his defence can be suspect.

In an ideal world (if we could afford it!!), we could do with 3 positions covering IMO. A good strong prop so we dont see the defence weaken when Sarge has a breather, a good half back to cover for Shifty's inevitable injuries (I would like to see Brierley brought through), and a winger with pace (Wainy is a big favourite of mine due to his effort and workrate, as mentioned by others, but just not a SL standard winger - good squad player though). With this in mind, what are peoples thoughts on most important?? I know Speedy will say half back (or fecking half back depending on his mood!!!)

Getting older is mandatory; growing up is optional.

Are you sure you're not Tigerman1+1 signed into someone else's account? You certainly sound like him.

Certainly not....... i do not need to do that. bring the lad in can he be any worse than Ryan Boyle the home grown player that we have just got rid of   another management masterstroke, but im sure you can see reason behind getting rid of a young prop local lad to bring in erm another prop of the same sort of level......come on Bonzo explain the TM reasoning behind this strange situation...

Laners ive learned that it is site suicide to show any form of criticism at all concerning TM. but ive never been a conformist and certainly not a sheep

Good for you, and i say it as i see it i know the difference between what we should have and who are the weaknesses within the club and its not just on the playing field.
