Leeds had a far superior defence last night. Almost unbreakable. They played right on the edge of being legal and illegal and we could learn a lot from them
.
1. Breaking away from the scrum, Leeds did this lightning quick (although a little early IMO)
2. Diskin and McShane were a yard offside at virtually every tackle but didn't get caught. Why? because they were clever with it. If the ref wasn't looking they carried on, if he looked they let the line catch up with them.
3. Senior slowing down the play of the ball with some bizzare greek wrestling technique by laying on top of the grounded player and spinning on his stomach about 180 degrees. Weird but effective.
4. JJB interference at the play of the ball every time he made a tackle. Pretty blatent but got away with it.
Apart from the JJB one which the ref should have seen, the rest were basically well coached and you have to admire it, so why the hell don't we do the same?
One thing for the Leeds fans, does McShane always run like he has messed his pants? Had me in stitches every time he ran.
