this imo sends out the wrong message to local lads when we are signing from over the hill,there is more than enough talant in this area to put three teams out never mind one.

it also beggers the question if these two kids are good enough why have wigan,wire,saints,leigh,widnes all missed them and not offered them the chance to play in there acadamy`s

I just been given info today that one of the lads think it was ryan was offered a contract at wigan but turned it down, Dont know the reasons why, but he was offered a contract but decided to go to the tigers.
He may think hes got more chance of making first team appearances, who knows what goes through these young brains :lol:

Wigan over the last 15 years or so have been the worst team in the country to let go good young home grown players, so who would want to sign for them.

First of all i dont see the problem with signing 2 kids from the pennines, I wouldnt have a problem us signing 2 from london or Wales if they added something to the squad. I understand what your saying Rob that we do have plenty of talent locally but adding a face or two from outside cant hurt.

As for them rejecting Wigan, I have it on good authority they chose to go to the bigger club 8)
