In the off season I really complained about the club. The bar, the shop, the commercial side (Charles Lawson et al) and generally voice my frustration.

When we played Huddersfield I complained at our conditioning.

To much of an extent my complaints are still there, the shop is awful, the bars are terrible, the club does portray itself as Super Leagues Phoenix Club and I still think the players could be better conditioned, BUT

There is no point moaning if you can't give praise when its deserved.

On saturday there was a six pint machine to speed up the bar (even if the guy didnt seem sure how to use it!), the shop had a shirt for my 3 year old and some bits and bobs for him too. The matchday program was alright and the Jungle atmosphere was great. But the best thing was that in the first half I've not seen us attack with as much adventure, enthusiasm and desire since Tawera Nikau pulled on our famous jersey.

And in a nutshell, sure theres a long way to go on and off the field, but if people are trying, like I saw on saturday, then I'll hand over my money till my pockets bleed dry!!

I'm off to Catalan and can't wait - win or lose, C'mon Cas!!!!!!!!

That's what I've been saying since the 'friendly' against Wakefield. And on Saturday, I again mentioned those heady days of the early - mid 90's, when as you say we had 'T', Blackmore, Kempy all running the show!

If we play like that throughout the season I'll be a happy man, whether we win, lose or draw. I might be a bit disappointed when we lose but if we've played like we're capable of and have shown I won't really care.

Unfortunately I can't get to Catalan this year due to goings on at work!! Knowing my luck this'll be the year they win. (My first ever missed trip to France )

As long as some supporters realise that it won't be like that all through the season. There will be similar highs tempered by a few lows, where the boo-boys will be back in force after any defeat. All in all, progression from last season but let's not start over-hyping the team, anything above 12th is an improvement.

Totally agree Paranoid, Ive just seen evidence of trying and that in truth is all I demand. Anything else is a bonus!
