A bit steep I'll grant you (I won't be going I'm afraid) but there's plenty of social activities for the more modest purse too. Have a look at CTSC - they organise good (cheap) functions fairly regularly.

I dont think 45 quid is bad value for something like that. Maybe they could do something with the 2004 team for a tenner!

I'd agree – £45 for a three course meal, with drink presumably, and a chance to meet many of the 69 cup final team sounds fair value.
