That whole article has got me thinking, the Beardsmore story would make a cracking screen play. Starting with them as young lads watching the H bombs at Wembley, then winning it themselves. All this in stark contrast to the decline of the pits, and the miners strike in 1985. It would be bloody brilliant. Hmmmmmmm
