George Bush says 'we are losing the war on drugs'. Well you know what that implies? There's a war going on, and people on drugs are winning it! Well what does that tell you about drugs? Some smart, creative motherfookers on that side."

Were there more Cas fans than the Hul game?

I think there were just a few less today. But every bit as vocal.

Good win fellas

We are a club in crisis. Was that the worst team you have seen this season, because I haven't seen a side as bad. Even Celtic played better when they came to our place.

That's not to take anything away from Cas. They played with enthusiasm and plenty of ideas. Everything that we lack.

I dont think we (wires) were THAT bad today for most parts. I think once you scored that try after our rally we looked tired and fell away but by that point we were well beaten.
You guys played really, really well.
Thought our forwards were pretty good but we've got NOTHING in the backs, god knows why we sold Gleeson.

Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

I can only apologise for not giving your defence a test today.

Getting older is mandatory; growing up is optional.

I thought Warrington were better yesterday than I've seen them on TV this season and actually played some pretty good rugby at times. Cas were excellent though and worked really hard as a team for the win.

Whilst everyone played their part, there are a few players who deserve special praise:

Richard Owen - took everything that was thrown at him and backed up well in attack.
James Ford - a couple of good takes under pressure and a try saving tackle in the corner.
Mitchell Sargent - astounding work rate for 80 minutes.
Rangi Chase - just pure class. The partnership with Sherwin is starting to come together really nicely.
Michael Wainwright - perhaps the most determined player we've ever seen in a Tigers shirt. He ran well, put in some big hits (one forcing a knock-on), made a try saving tackle, made a try and scored a try. He's made it very difficult for TM to drop him when McGoldrick becomes available again next week.

Oh and I think my argument about the pitch down t'lane being too small is still valid. It helps teams to slow the game down and stop us playing as we saw again on Friday. That's much harder to do on a bigger pitch.

very true, if i was TM i would drop faumuina and play Mcgoldrick, and just let him have a free role on the pitch

I think 'whose fit' rather than 'who gets dropped' will be the question this week.

Sarge, Shifty and Wainwright played really well but i also felt Higgins had a top game. Worked tirelessly in defense, turning the wire players over and ran the ball in well and often and played a good chunk of the game. To say he's probably one of our lesser named players he had a cracking game and was one of my main players yesterday. Singling out just those players would be harsh on the rest of the team, many of whom had to play through the pain, so a big well done to each and everyone of them from me. Top effort lads!
