Express and transfer rumours : Thu Jul 23, 2009 11:51 am
Jackson’s expected return to Castleford will be followed by another homecoming with Wakefield second-rower Steve Snitch close to agreeing a three-year contract with the Tigers. Castleford centre James Evans is heading in the other direction to join the Wildcats, who allowed the out-of-contract Sculthorpe to link up with the Giants on loan earlier in the season after he was suspended for a week for drinking on the team bus on the way back from a game at Harlequins. Jackson and Snitch’s move to the Tigers may herald the departure of their highly rated young prop Ryan Boyle, who is wanted by Leeds. Boyle, 21, is more likely to cross the Pennines, with Wigan and St Helens both keen on him. Barrow, who yesterday demoted coach Dave Clark and replaced him with former Oldham boss Steve Deakin, have been linked with New Zealand international Sione Faumuina, who is not being retained by Castleford. http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/115 ... -Crabtree- |
