Me and my maes were talking at the game yesterday and we had an idea, why dont the club do a dvd of the hundred best castleford super league tries? all the games are recorded, all they would have to do is get someone with a basic knowledge of video editing software and bobs your uncle. It would cost very little to make (blank dvds bought in bulk are extrememly cheap), the club could sell them for a tenner a dvd and make a healthy profit margin. I asked loads of people what they thought of the idea yesterday and they all said they would buy one. Would have made a great christmas gift.

Thoughts?

Thats at least a dozen people that would so far then!

If the club did do this it would be nice if fans had some input into what tries where included.

Recent tries (last few years) of note

widders interception v bradford
manu running down the line 2006
evans try at MM set up by dixon
siones backwards throw v celtic this year
shentons v leeds at home (the one where shifty almost knocked on from the kick off)
vivas inteception against haven 2005 grand final
wards full length of the field v leeds

i'm sure other cas fans have many tries of there own to add.

I would imagine they would be unable to do it themselves due to copyright of the recordings would have to be done by Micron who record the games

I would buy one,i'm forever on youtube watching cas tries. Especially the james evens try at edinbugh.....fantastic stuff.

I doubt they would give permission when they are in the buisness of selling discs percentage or not they would want to supply themselves
