The programme for the above game that was played at Wheldon Road in 1948 is one of 154 items that are in an auction organised by the Rugby League Collectors Federation at The Shay Halifax on Saturday (January 2nd). The auction starts at 12.30 and at 10.30 there will be a programme fair.
On show will be a large collection of programmes, books, magazines, novels, badges, photographs, DVDs and other items of interest to rugby league fans.
Admission is free and everybody is welcome to what is always a very sociable event.
