Follow this link and complain quickly if you live in a WF postcode area http://www.wakefieldccg.co.uk Council trying to get planning permission for Pussy's new stadim via back door and have also wrote off £220K owed by pussy's (they could have used the £80K they got for Brough to pay some of it back) . Guess who's council tax is paying for that? Have until 8th April to complain.

This is obviously some NIMBY trying to con the Cas fans!

It's a very poor and transparent effort from someone who obviously underestimates the intelligence of rugby league fans

Is that because he has a differing opinion to you which isn't supportive of your stadium aspirations?

I don't think anyone can argue that the potentially increased flood risk to Methley and Castleford; and a reduction in green belt land by the proposed development will cause some concerns.

As for the talk of financial dealings, that's purely speculation but I seriously doubt that the council have the funds available to just be able to write off large chunks of money.
