There's a lot to talk about darn t'lane at the moment so 'appen it's time to do an Aye and get a few things off our chests? So I'd like to collate some genuine Cas fan thoughts on a few things and get a REAL feel for what we're all thinking, not just 'those who shout loudest'. With that in mind, I'd be very grateful if any Cas fan with any kind of opinion on any or all of the following statements would let me know their thoughts: 1) The Glasshoughton stadium will not be built by the 2012 season. 2) Castleford will get their franchise renewed in 2011. 3) Terry Matterson has taken the Tigers as far as he can as our Head Coach. 4) Demonstrations are a valid way for us to vent our current frustrations. Feel free to post thoughts below, to PM me, or alternatively drop a mail to 'disco@ayberspace.co.uk'. Of course, if you have something specific to say on another topic then don't hold back. On the Glasshoughton subjuect i know we really need this to go ahead to secure our super league future but could this be at the expense of the club. over the last 2 years we have seen the club strugle through with the smallest squad it can get away with, and this has obviousley been to hold as much cash back as they can to put into the glasshoughton coffers. But we are now starting to see this work against the club with all the unrest in supporters, and the amount of people i have spoken to over the last few weeks who say they will not be renewing there season tickets is very worrying. I think the club are in a real catch 22 at the moment and i really dont know if they are doing right or wrong, because if the new ground does not come off how much cash will have been pumped into the planning process that could have been spent on the team and developing wheldon road, because as i understand it we are not that far away from meeting the required standards. or on the other side of the coin if the ground does come off would that be the making or the breaking of us, could we afford the new ground and a fittting team to play in it. so basically i would hate for the last few years all to have been for nothing and to finish up with a team that is going to strugle to make a mark on the national leagues, but on the other hand i would love to see a cas team in a brand new stadium and challenging for honours, but at the moment i am leaning towards the first scenario unfortunatly.

Cheers. i think you have an WMDC competition to find who's got the hardest dad , i nominate my old man who once had a fight with 165 fev fans and wiped them all out with a secret martial art. look forward to this coming out one off the best fanzines on the market

It seems noboby else gives a s£ite but for the record i do . 1, Lets all be honest, if it was going to happen would we all keep looking at the mound of slag at Glasshoughton . 2, We have more chance at this present time of platting fog . 3, To be hand on heart i dont think he ever took us anywhere . 4, Last resort, but what else is left, NL1 .

Surely you should call yourself 'Half Empty' rather than 'Half Full' on reflection of your views?
